Bring a Chromecast on Your Next Vacation
I’m on vacation.
On Tuesday I made a 90 minute round-trip to the nearest Walmart to buy a Chromecast, because I forgot to pack the tablet that I’d so conscientiously loaded with movies and had originally planned to plug into the TV and/or the little pocket projector that I brought.

Nice idea. I’ve been doing this with our washer and dryer for the past few years, except I did with a cheap Chinese accelerometer and an (almost equally cheap) WiFi enabled microcontroller.
